Boston Carpenters Apprenticeship   & Training Fund

Application Period:	Applications can be filled out, in person, at our office located at 750 Dorchester Ave.  on the first Monday of each month anytime between 9am and 3pm. If there is a holiday on  the first Monday then the application day will be moved to the following Monday at  the same time.

Local Union 723:	Woodframe, all of Massachusetts
Term of Apprenticeship:	4 Years
Training:	All apprentices spend one week every three months at the New England Carpenters  Training Center in Millbury, MA. This training includes concrete forms, drywall  installation, finish,doors, acoustical, ceilings, house framing, estimating, blueprint  reading, transit and level.
Entry Requirements:	-Must be 17 years of age or older.
	-Must be in good physical condition, may require a physical.
	-Must provide high school transcript indicating graduation from high school, high school  transcript and diploma, or GED scores indicating a passing score in order to be granted an  interview.
	-Must pass an interview conducted by the Boston Carpenters Apprenticeship  and Training Fund.
	-Although there are no residency restrictions, residents of jurisdiction preferred.
